Jace The Caveat blends R&B, rock, glitch, and industrial storytelling into music for listeners navigating survival, identity, memory, and liberation.
Jace The Caveat is an alternative R&B artist working at the seam where soul meets industrial noise. Across three bodies of work — the machinery-driven Leather, the interior ALPHA, and the stripped-back Saddle Soap EP — the writing returns to labor, survival, and the identities people armor themselves in to get through it. Released on Radical Records.
Jace The Caveat makes alternative R&B that refuses a single lane, braiding soul and songwriting with rock, glitch, and industrial texture. The catalog spans three distinct eras: Leather, an industrial record about labor and the machinery that consumes it; ALPHA, an atmospheric turn inward toward masks, duality, and the distance between public and private self; and the Saddle Soap EP, which strips the same material back to acoustic bone.
Recurring through all of it is escape — from systems, from imposed identity, from the version of yourself other people find convenient. The work is rooted in queer and Black identity and in underground community, and it carries a deliberate tension between the handcrafted and the mechanical.
Jace The Caveat records for Radical Records.
